Story The Pension Edelweiss turns into the Nature Hotel Edelweiss

The project “Pension Edelweiss” was born in 1971.

After a construction period of two years, 1973 the first guests stay in our guesthouse. Already back then, the rooms were luxurious, with shower and WC.

1979

Construction of the outdoor pool on the lawn below the Pension Edelweiss. The new swimming pool is much appreciated by our guests. In Terento, at an altitude of 1,210 m, the heated pool offers great refreshment!

1990

We extend our offer with a small spa area with sauna, whirlpool and solarium.

2001

Extension of the dining room and construction of the winter garden.

2011

Time has left its mark, and the demands of the guests grow.
A first plan for renovation and expansion of our Pension Edelweiss is created.
The global crisis prompted us to postpone the renovation.

2014

Three years later, the situation has calmed down and we reconsider the renovation works. A redesign of the entire project begins.
Initial errors are eliminated and the structure of the building is thoroughly improved. The 3D images look very promising.
On March 15, 2014, the construction company arrives with their machines and before long … there is not much left of our traditional “Pension Edelweiss” is. Many eager hands and an excellent organization make it possible: Three months later, everything’s done, and the new Nature Hotel Edelweiss opens its doors in July 2014!
